
Founder and Director
Aadi X Mullan is a senior at Horace Mann High School in New York. He is an environmental science researcher and founder of ecohikes.org, which teaches youth about local ecology and urban environmental issues. A writer for Horace Mann’s Environmental Newspaper, Aadi is also involved in initiatives to make his school more sustainable and eco-friendly. He organizes and leads service-learning activities for his school’s Center for Community Values & Action, tutors middle school children every Saturday in math, English, and science, and writes for turquoiseplanet.org.
Aadi is also an avid tennis and squash player, and enjoys reading autobiographies and watching football outside of school.
EcoChapter Leader (Bay Area, CA):
Cameron Lo is an American-born Chinese and lives in the Bay Area. He is currently a junior in high school at the Webb Schools, where he plays the alto saxophone in the school band and has played in numerous performances. He runs both cross country and track and field competitively, and volunteers for a non-profit organization led by my friends that helps with theater, whether it’s technical or performance.
In his free time, he enjoys drawing nature, reading and writing dystopian novels, and cooking. Above all else, he loves hanging out with the many friends that he has grown close to throughout my life.

EcoChapter Leader (Florida)
Alana Carney is a junior at East Bay High School in Florida with interests in medicine and environmental research. She is a member of S.N.H.S. and HOSA and volunteers with Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful, helping protect waterways, lead community cleanups, and educate the public on local restoration efforts. Passionate about the connection between human health and the environment, she also competes in swimming and chorus while balancing advanced high school and college courses. Additionally, she leads Order of the Arrow, fostering relationships among students, parents, and faculty while mentoring younger students.
EcoChapter Leader (New Jersey)
Max Levy is from Princeton, NJ and is currently in the 12th grade at Princeton Day School. An avid outdoorsman, environmentalist, and all around explorer, he loves to spend any time he can out in nature whether that be hiking, biking, or walking his dog. As director of events for his school’s environmental club, he led many school-wide environmental-focused events, such as the annual Harvest Festival, and co-coordinated an upper school academic symposium on green building and sustainable architecture. In other leadership roles, he works on bringing in energy and climate experts to engage with students and bring attention to the climate crisis and the future of our planet.
EcoChapter Leader (Boston, MA)
Julian Tay is an 12th grader at Phillips Academy Andover from Singapore. He is a prefect in Taylor Hall, an Ecoleader, and a member of the Sustainability Coalition, where he worked on Andover’s eco plan and Earth Week initiatives. He plays the violin and is a part of his school’s orchestra. He is a member of the Philanthropy Investment Club Association (PICA) and competed in the Wharton Investment Competition. As a varsity athlete in tennis and track, he competes in sprints and singles and doubles. Outside of school, he raised $8,400 for a kidney center and plans to organize an orchestral charity fundraiser this year. Currently, he is working on securing a grant to launch a hydroponics initiative on campus while also running for his cluster’s co-presidential role.

EcoChapter Leader (Virginia)
Kinley Duty is from the small town of Grundy in Southwest Virginia. Kinley cares about environmental education because the more people understand about the environment, the better they can protect it. Kinley was inspired to start EcoHikes in the community at the Congress of Future Medical Leaders when a speaker framed it as a leadership opportunity, not just learning. EcoHikes gets people outside to explore local trails and learn more about the environment around them. Kinley wants to help the community connect with the environment while also learning about it.

EcoChapter Leader (New York, NY)
Shiv Lalvani is a current 11th grader at the Dalton school with a passion for technology and sports. He is a dedicated student, who enjoys engineering and math. Besides academics, he plays violin in the school orchestra. He has been playing violin since he was five and continues to enjoy all genres of music. Shiv is a member of the football, swimming, and tennis teams at his school. He is constantly being told by his coaches that he is willing to step up for his team and is always pushing himself to improve his skills. Long intrigued by animals, he hopes to eventually work with them in some capacity. He makes a loyal friend and enjoys spending time with family.

Kabir Thakkar is an 12th-grade student at Hill Spring International School in Mumbai, India. He is a varsity-level soccer player in and out of school and has competed in various tournaments across India. Beyond sports, Kabir is committed to environmental advocacy, focusing on sustainability and raising awareness about climate change. He actively participates in initiatives that promote environmental stewardship and education, demonstrating a strong dedication to creating a positive impact. Kabir balances his academic, athletic, and environmental pursuits with a focus on personal growth and meaningful contributions. His drive, discipline, and passion make him a dynamic individual with a clear vision for the future.

EcoChapter Leader (Alabama)
Violet Dial is a current Junior at New Century Technology High School in Huntsville, Al. Outside of school Violet enjoys hiking with her dog, swimming, playing soccer and is inspired to work in medicine. She is passionate about nature and earth. Violet was raised on a farm and grew up hiking with her family, and learning how to take care of nature. Violet is the vice president of her school's Beta Club, and is avid about volunteering and supporting her community. Her core values are to serve the community that served you, practice healing through nature, and take care of the earth that sustains us.

EcoChapter Leader (Kentucky)
Dushant Lohano is a senior at Phillips Exeter Academy with a strong passion for both business and medicine. As Co-Head of the Enterprises Club, he leads initiatives that promote entrepreneurship and real-world problem-solving among students. Dushant enjoys exploring the intersection of healthcare and technology, and he founded DocAi, a startup focused on improving patient communication through innovative tools. In his free time, he enjoys golfing for fun and spending time with friends and family.
